Basic Boiled Eggs



Ingredients (for 1 serving)

2 Boiled Eggs

Water

1 Teaspoon Salt

Salt & Pepper (to taste)


Cooking Time - 10-15 Minutes



Steps

  1. In a pot, add water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Use enough water so that when eggs are added, the water submerges the eggs.

  2. Bring water to a boil.

  3. With a spoon, slowly add the 2 eggs to the boiling water.

  4. Cook for 6 minutes for soft boiled eggs. For a firmer texture, cook for 8 minutes.

  5. Remove the eggs from the hot water. Cool the eggs by pouring cold water on them.

  6. Peel the shells.

  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
